THE WORD
DES
Skippers
Florian: Like everyone else, we were expecting, but we stayed motivated, with the idea of making the most of the second part of the season. The Normandy Channel Race is a first for me and will be the first race of the year but also one of the last with this vintage boat. The idea is to acquire a new class40 mount in the last quarter. I am happy to participate in this edition with my friend and to find the conditions of the sea on a complex course.
Raphael: It’s a real pleasure to participate in the Normandy Channel Race. The race offers a very technical course that allows to meet different sailing conditions and to fight with the other boats of the class. This is my first race of the year on the Class40 No.60 since our return from the Transat Jacques Vabre. I am delighted to be back on the boat and back on the water.
