Class40 no. 194 GROUPE BERKEM in transit to Caen to take the start of the CIC NORMANDY CHANNEL RACE was the victim of a fire on board off the C\u00f4tes d’Armor on Tuesday night. The 2 skippers, Edgard Vincens and Julien Pulv\u00e9, had to evacuate the boat and were rescued by an SNSM boat. They are safe and sound. The entire CIC NORMANDY CHANNEL RACE organisation offers its full support to the skippers and thanks the SNSM.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
