\u201cHello everyone. A brief message from the depths of the ranking. Another lovely night\u2019s sailing: full moon, 16 knots of breeze. We\u2019re upwind trying to put every effort into our trimming and trajectories to make fast headway and not \u2018miss the boat\u2019 for the passage off Cornwall. Yesterday, we really stuffed up by zigzagging along the Irish coast under spinnaker. With lateral separation like that with the wind failing to shift round to the direction you hoped for\u2026 that equates to a lot of lost miles. When you\u2019re behind, each time you\u2019re torn between one little devil who says: “try and option” and the other who says: “when you\u2019re at the bottom of the hole\u2026 stop digging!\u201d In short, all\u2019s well aboard and we\u2019re preparing for a return to the English Channel with some lumpy conditions. Goodnight.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
