NST CABINET Z SKIPPERS RESCUED BY HELICOPTER<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Today at 1.50 in the morning, the CIC NORMANDY CHANNEL RACE race management team was informed by CROSS CORSEN of an accident that occurred off Brest involving the Class40 NST CABINET Z (n\u00b0 191) of Thomas Jourdren and C\u00e9dric de Kervenoa\u00ebl. Rescue was immediately implemented by CROSS CORSEN with the support of the crew of Class40 <\/span>#EMPOWHER<\/span> (n\u00b0 178), Pamela Lee and Jay Thompson, who were close to the scene of the accident. The two skippers of NST CABINET Z were airlifted by the French Navy and transferred to a hospital in Brest for examination. The Class40 <\/span>#EMPOWHER<\/span>, which had launched its liferaft during the rescue operation, was unable to recover it and and is heading to Lorient.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
