Apr\u00e8s avoir contourn\u00e9 le DST Casquets, en grande majorit\u00e9 par le sud, la flotte de la CIC Normandy Channel Race 2025 a progress\u00e9 vers la marque de parcours suivante symbolis\u00e9e par le phare de Wolf Rock \u00e0 la pointe sud-ouest de l\u2019Angleterre. Une navigation rude dans une mer forte et dans un flux de sud-ouest de 25-30 n\u0153uds de vent qui aura mis \u00e0 mal les Class40. C\u2019est finalement l\u2019\u00e9quipage d\u2019Esprit Large (209), avec Corentin Douguet et Axel Trehin aux manettes, qui \u00e0 5h11 du matin franchi en premier ce passage obligatoire situ\u00e9 face \u00e0 Land\u2019s End. Suite au changement de parcours annonc\u00e9\u00a0hier par la direction de course, <\/strong>la t\u00eate de flotte fait d\u00e9sormais route \u00e0 belle allure (16 n\u0153uds) vers la cardinale Chauss\u00e9e de Sein o\u00f9 ils vont trouver une m\u00e9t\u00e9o et des conditions de navigation plus maniables.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Les conditions muscl\u00e9es rencontr\u00e9es par la flotte cette nuit auront mis \u00e0 mal les Class40. C\u2019est le cas tout d\u2019abord d\u2019Amarris (182) qui \u00e0 4h14 du matin, alors qu\u2019il \u00e9voluait en seconde position sur la CIC Normandy Channel Race avec \u00e0 son bord Achille Nebout et Gildas Mah\u00e9, a inform\u00e9 la direction de course de son d\u00e9m\u00e2tage. Les marins vont bien. Aucune demande d\u2019assistance n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite. Malgr\u00e9 la d\u00e9ception qui est immense, le bateau est s\u00e9curis\u00e9 et fait route vers le port le plus proche. Avec cet abandon, l\u2019\u00e9preuve perd l\u2019un des favoris pour la victoire dans cette \u00e9dition 2025.<\/p>\n

Trois autres abandons sont \u00e0 d\u00e9plorer dans la nuit pour des soucis similaires d\u2019\u00e9tai (c\u00e2ble servant \u00e0 maintenir le m\u00e2t longitudinalement vers l’avant). Il s\u2019agit tout d\u2019abord de Weecycling (154), skipp\u00e9 par Nicolas Lemarchand et Matthieu Derenne, qui a inform\u00e9 la direction de course \u00e0 3h09 de la casse de son \u00e9tai. Le Class40 a d\u00e9sormais ralli\u00e9 Plymouth. Ensuite c\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9quipage d\u2019Esatco (141), Nicolas Guibal et Roland Muller, qui a pris contact avec la direction de course \u00e0 3h49 pour les informer que sa voile d’avant J1 s’est partiellement d\u00e9roul\u00e9e et d\u00e9chir\u00e9e. \u00c9tant dans l’impossibilit\u00e9 de la rouler le duo fait route vers Cherbourg. Enfin, les fr\u00e8res Livory, Yannig et Erwan, \u00e0 bord d\u2019Interaction (164) ont pr\u00e9venu la direction de course \u00e0 4h12 d\u2019un probl\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9tai de J1. Ils ont ralli\u00e9 le port de Torquay. Tous les marins vont bien.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
