Following a collision during the starting procedure, the Class40 Wasabiii (198) was dismasted, while the Class40 VSF Sports (181) sustained damage. Both crews are safe, in good condition, and have withdrawn from the race. They are now docked in the outer harbor of Ouistreham. The organizing team would like to thank the SNSM for their prompt support.
