FPFP-TP – Matéo Le Calvic et Pierre Boulbin
Over the last 24 hours we’ve been going strong, particularly on the Wolfrock-Portsall leg, which we covered in 4 hours, weaving in and out between the cargo ships.
Since then we’ve been gliding along under spinnaker in 15–22 knots with a few gusts, and it’s still a tight race with our little group – the slightest mistake in positioning in the current comes at a high price…
In two hours we’ll turn around at Dieppe, then it’s back to tacking hard towards Ouistreham, where we hope to arrive before nightfall.
We’re really starting to feel the strain; we’ve been at the helm 24 hours a day since the start of the race – it’s a real commitment!
